- Guru Rattana is the soul architect for building heart-centered consciousness for this new era.
She guides women and men to tap into themselves in a new way - and for so many, that shift has been a genuine turning point in their lives.
She is the real deal. Her message of calm, uplifting truth speaks to women everywhere, because she doesn't speak at you - she speaks to you, the way a sister who has walked the road ahead of you would.
She spoke and taught about women's inner empowerment long before it became a trend. She forged a path for women to claim their own sovereignty, long before there was language for it. She lives in the dimension where discovery leads the way, and she needs no embellishment. She is simply the real thing.
Guru Rattana, PhD, is a prolific author, teacher, and teacher of teachers, with a huge worldwide following for her 12 books on Kundalini Yoga and meditation. Her clarity and her warmth come from a place that's rare to find: over 47 years of daily practice, lived and felt, not just studied.
Over the years, she has gone deeper into the essence of the Yoga of Awareness. Attuned to the subtler layers of the technology, she teaches her students how to pay attention, focus, listen, and feel - so they can consciously receive the full physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual benefit of the practice. You'll find much more of this approach in her book, *The Inner Art of Kundalini Yoga*.
Her workshops sit on a level beyond what is taught elsewhere.
- Her Contribution to Women's Empowerment
Guru Rattana's teachings have made a major contribution to the self-empowerment of women - inclusive and respectful of human emotion, the Divine Mother, and Mother Earth. She weaves the feminine, nurturing polarity into a spiritual path that is real and livable, not abstract.
She has always wanted every woman she meets to find her way home to her own heart, so that together, women everywhere can build a more peaceful, heart-centered world. This challenge, and the year-long journey it opens into, is built on her groundbreaking book, *The Gift of Womanhood*.
She has written more than 400 Guru Rattana Blogs, weaving together spiritual awakening, astrology, and Kundalini Yoga. Her Guru Rattana Online streaming videos have carried Kundalini Yoga to places with no teachers of their own - reaching women in some of the most far-flung corners of the globe, so that no one is left without a hand to hold on this path.
Guru Rattana earned her Doctorate in Political Science from the Graduate Institute of International Studies at the University of Geneva, and her Master's degree from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, in Washington, DC, and Bologna, Italy.
Her academic career has included teaching International Environment and Development Studies at Dartmouth College, MIT, and New Hampshire College, and Philosophies of Life and History at the U.S. International University in San Diego. She has also taught at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in Palo Alto, California, and at Stanford University.
Guru Rattana now lives, writes, and teaches her Zoom workshops from her home in San Diego, California - still reachable, still teaching, still walking beside every woman who finds her way to her.
