A subtle shift happens when we pause long enough to notice ourselves. In Episode 5 of the Kundalini Yoga Summit, Gurumukh Gyan guided us into one of those pauses. A moment to reflect on what we truly need, want, and can do.
This session wasn’t about theory, performance, or long explanations. It was about gently tuning into our own inner landscape, guided by simple, clear principles. Gurumukh Gyan reminded us:
"Our spirit always knows what we need, and it helps us release what we don’t."
A central focus of the session was the balance between three dimensions:
- What we want – our genuine desires, separate from expectations or trends
- What we can – what is possible for us in the present moment
- What we must – the essential actions aligned with our purpose
Through mindful breathing, movements, and mantra practice, Gurumukh Gyan created a space to feel the body, mind, and spirit working together. There was no rush, no pressure.Just an invitation to notice, reflect, and let go of patterns that no longer serve.
The session encouraged us to consider not only our abilities and obligations but also the intentions behind them. Which actions come from our core values, and which are inherited from outside pressures? How can we act in ways that are aligned with our deeper sense of purpose?

Why This Session Matters Now
In a world that often demands constant doing, Episode 5 offers something rare: the permission to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with what really matters. It’s a reminder that clarity and alignment aren’t found in busyness they are cultivated through attention and presence.
Gurumukh Gyan’s gentle guidance helps us notice the subtle cues from our own spirit, giving space for reflection and recalibration. The practices shared are accessible to everyone, offering tools to integrate awareness into everyday life.
