Truly a Hidden Sanctuary by the Sea.
There are places you visit and then there are places that receive you. Mandala Dreams Pousada is a place that receives you.
Tucked away in the quiet coastal village of Praia do Maceió in North East Brazil, this is not just somewhere to stay, it is a space to soften, to breathe and to reconnect.
What makes it truly unique is that it was born from Kundalini Energy.
This Holistic Sanctuary, founded by Tera Ranpreet Kaur Khalsa, a Kundalini Yoga teacher, Sound Healer and Body Work Practitioner, is an affordable, heart-led venue for Kundalini Yoga Retreats, teachers and spiritual communities.
A Space That Feels Like Home
Just steps from the ocean, Mandala Dreams opens itself to sea breeze, sunlight, and the gentle rhythm of waves.
Mornings begin with golden light over the water.
Evenings dissolve into sunsets that feel almost ceremonial.
With only a handful of rooms, the atmosphere is intimate and personal. The simplicity is intentional. A pool reflecting the sky, hammocks swaying softly in the breeze, singing chimes and chirping birds. A fireplace and a pizza oven for feasts to be held.
Coconut trees right in front of the beach. Every corner is designed not for distraction, but for presence, relaxation, and reconnection.
Guests speak of warmth and comfort, of clean and thoughtfully prepared rooms, and of an environment where you can truly feel the love that has been put into the space. They feel at home, because this place was made to receive them with warmth and much love.
More Than a Stay — A Holistic Experience
What makes Mandala Dreams truly special is its spirit. This is also a Holistic Portal — a space where Yoga, Meditation, Sound Healing, Reiki, and Body Work are woven into daily life. It is not a retreat in the traditional sense, but something more organic. You may arrive simply looking for rest, and find yourself gently invited into deeper stillness.
Because the space was created by a Kundalini Yoga teacher, it holds a particular attunement.
The energy here is often described by guests as paradisiacal, something you cannot photograph, but something you feel the moment you arrive.

Slow mornings and Nourishing Days
Breakfast is a small ritual of its own — fresh juices, fruits, local flavours, and household specialities prepared with love and care.
From there, the day unfolds slowly, and might include:
-A barefoot walk on the beach and a swim in the warm sea
-Sunrise and sunset yoga on the beach
-Full moon meditations and stargazing
-Sitting around a bonfire, chanting mantras, sharing stories, dancing
-Laughing, crying, being inspired, finding yourself again, connecting with others.
Depending on the time of year, you may also witness the deeply moving experience of sea turtles hatching and making their first run to the ocean.

Adventure, Nature and Local Culture
For those who want to explore, the area offers:
-Kite surfing, windsurfing and wing foil lessons at the local kite school
-Buggy rides across dunes and freshwater lagoons
-Boat trips through nearby coastal landscapes
-Discovery of local traditions and natural remedies with a local Shaman (seasonal)
The rainy season runs from February to May. From June onwards it is predominantly sunny, with winds picking up from September through January (ideal for kite and wind sports).
Or simply rest by the pool under the sun. Sit. Empty the mind. Do nothing at all.
Because in a world that moves so fast, that nothing becomes everything.

An Invitation to Sanghat, Retreat Leaders & Kundalini Yoga Teachers
For those in our community who feel called to hold space for others — this is an invitation for you.
Mandala Dreams opens its doors as a venue for Kundalini Yoga Retreats, Spiritual Retreats, and holistic gatherings. Because it was founded by a Kundalini Yoga teacher, the space already holds the frequency that teachers and practitioners need.
One of the greatest gifts of Mandala Dreams as a retreat venue is how financially accessible it is. Hosting a retreat abroad can feel like a big financial burden. Here, that barrier is significantly lowered, making it a genuinely low-entry option for teachers who want to offer an exotic, meaningful retreat without taking on heavy financial pressure.
The Space and What It Offers

Mandala Dreams can host up to 20 people. The accommodation is as follows:
1 single bed room with private bathroom
1 room with king size bed, 1 single bed and 1 hammock, shared bathroom
1 triple room with 3 single beds, shared bathroom
1 room with king size bed, 1 hammock and 1 single bed, shared bathroom
1 couch bed with shared bathroom
3 terrace hammocks with shared bathroom
Floor space for 5 yoga mats with shared bathroom
Total sleeping capacity: 10 beds, 4 to 6 hammocks, 1 couch, 5 yoga mat spaces — up to 20 people in total. There are 4 showers and 3 bathrooms.
Shared facilities include a large kitchen, dining area, swimming pool with a chill-out area, barbecue, pizza oven, and plenty of beach space for practice and gathering.
Affordable and Accessible for Facilitators and Participants
Accommodation is priced from approximately 45 to 60 Euros per person per night, inclusive of all meals: a bountiful breakfast, a generous lunch, fruit throughout the day, and a light dinner, plus water, tea and coffee and morning juice.
Activities in the area are also affordable, especially during the off-season:
-Kite surf, windsurf and wing foil lessons
-Buggy rides across dunes and lagoons
-Boat trips along the coast
-Massage and holistic therapies on-site
-Gatka
All of this makes it genuinely possible to create meaningful retreat experiences without high financial pressure for both the facilitator and their participants.
A retreat that is inclusive rather than exclusive.
A Willing Partner, Not Just a Venue.
Perhaps the most important thing to know is this: Tera Ranpreet is not just the owner and guardian, she is a Kundalini Yoga teacher herself. She understands what a retreat needs energetically, practically and financially.
Tera is open to sitting down with you, thinking through your vision, and co-creating a plan that fits your budget and your group.
Whether you are dreaming of a Kundalini Yoga retreat, a sound healing journey, a Gatka workshop, a dance retreat, or simply a space for silence and inner work — Mandala Dreams is a willing partner.
The team is flexible, collaborative, and genuinely invested in helping heart-led experiences to unfold.
If you have been dreaming of hosting a retreat but have been waiting for the right place —
simple, supportive, spiritually attuned, and affordable — this may be exactly that.
A brief introduction
My name is Tera Ranpreet. Throughout my Spiritual journey I have always found Retreats to be overpriced and inaccessible for people with low income. So, my proposal here is bare and honest. This reality used to be a dream and it was born from the same practice that may have brought you here today.I welcome you with an open heart.
Sat Nam. Waheguru. Chardi Kala — always.
