PERSONAL EXPERIENCE:-

As a medical student, life often feels like a constant rush, filled with endless studying, exams, and the pressure to stay on top of everything. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed, drained, and disconnected from the very reasons I chose this path in the first place. Initially, I was drawn to Kundalini Yoga because I needed something to help me manage stress, but I quickly realized this kriya offered so much more. Every morning, I carve out just 10-16 minutes to go through the sequence. The postures, combined with the breath work, seem to create this invisible shield around me, one that I can feel throughout the day. It’s like my aura is glowing stronger, and with that, I feel more connected to myself and protected from the chaos around me.

One of the biggest changes I’ve noticed is in my awareness. In the past, I often found myself moving through my day on autopilot, missing out on the little moments that make life meaningful. Now, there’s a heightened sense of consciousness, a deepened awareness not just of my surroundings, but of my inner world as well. I’m more mindful and intentional in my actions, whether it’s interacting with patients, absorbing complex information, or simply taking a moment to breathe.

This kriya has greatly enhanced my emotional stability amidst the pressures of med school. Strengthening my nervous system through this practice has brought me a deeper sense of calm, stabilizing my mood and increasing my capacity for patience and compassion—crucial traits in both my personal and professional life. During challenging times, this kriya has been my anchor, helping me not only manage my own stress but also be a reliable source of support for others. The resilience and balance I gain from this practice continue to guide me, whether I'm helping a classmate or being present with a patient.

For anyone in a high-pressure environment like medical school, finding a practice that nurtures both your body and spirit is invaluable. The Kriya for Auric Balance and Nerve Strength has given me exactly that—a way to stay grounded, resilient, and connected to the deeper purpose of my journey.
